Job Responsibilities
(SmyanSoft LLC has multiple openings in Houston, TX) Technical Manager: Manage technical teams within the automotive, EV, and software/AI sectors. Study existing systems and design application architecture. Understand requirements and prepare a high level solution design. Oversee end-to-end project delivery and ensure code quality, performance and adherence to delivery. Design the application framework solution and provide support, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Provide technical guidance and review the deliverables such as technical documents and code. Plan and allocate resources based on project needs and priorities. Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. Identify and prepare the infrastructure requirements for all environments. Prepare implementation plans and provide support throughout the project. Perform regular status reviews and monitoring, issue resolutions, reports, and updates, and take corrective action. Manage and coordinate with the offshore project team. Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 2 years experience. 2 years must include experience with 1) the automotive, EV, and software/AI sectors and 2) leading multiple skilled teams and engaging directly with directors and senior managers.
